T’is the season … to appreciate everything awesome

For many of us, winter is blooming into spring, or fall hardening into winter. Which season do you most look forward to?

We are very lucky to live in a dynamic world that it constantly changing. There are lots of cycles that we can see and feel in our lives, and one of the most prominent that no one can escape from is the change of seasons.

What season do I most look forward to?

I look forward to both spring and summer, as after the winter I’m ready to for more light in my life, a bit of warmth on my skin and more outdoor shenanigans. Winter brings with it some great benefits, however towards the end I can always guarantee that I’m well and truly in the mood for a change!

What season do I prefer?

My favourite season is autumn. I’m a colourful person, and love how much more beautiful the world looks when orangey red autumnal hues are on offer. Brown and orange are my two favourite colours, especially when side by side so it’s no wonder that season is aesthetically pleasing to me.

Our year in motion

People have different ideas about the seasons and what emotions they evoke. I think its safe to say that everyone regards spring time as the season of rebirth and re awakening. How can we possibly deny this when its put into practice in nature?

For me summer generates a feelings of warmth and happiness. During summer it is not uncommon for me to forget about my ideas of self-development. It’s not that I don’t care, I’m just busy having fun and getting outside that there isn’t that much time to not accept how wonderful my life is as is! 😉

Autumn is known around the world as harvest season  with lots of gorgeous landscapes and colours. I start to wind down in autumn and take a bit more time for myself.

I don’t not like winter, I welcome the arrival of this season and I enjoy various aspects of it. I like being inside all cosy, when its is miserable and bleak outside. Winter is generally when I spend a lot of time reflecting on my life and try to asses where I am, where I want to be and how I plan on getting there. It is the time where I want to rest and don’t feel bad for not having plans all of the time, I’m happy with my own company and welcome the opportunity to catch up on hobbies that were cast aside a bit during the warmer months.

Winter is nearly over in the UK. This year I can’t wait! I NEED some quality sunshine in my life.

Last week I commented on THIS as I think its great. It reminds me of autumn.

Completely agree – by the end of each season I’m ready for the next one! I think we’re lucky to have such distinct seasons.
